While your Smart Account operates in the same manner and fashion as a traditional current account it does offer some key different features:

All you have to do is use your Smart Account Card at participating retailers, and your Smart MoneyBack is deposited in your account monthly. Then you can spend it however you like, whenever you like, wherever you like.
This is a budgeting tool that lets you set money aside for a specific purpose. Your Smart Account contains two Wallets, and you can designate them for household bills, a once-in-lifetime holiday or whatever you want. Once you put the funds in a Wallet, they won’t be available for other purposes, so they won’t get accidentally spent on something else.
Think of payment alerts as gentle reminders of your payments. With Smart Account, you will automatically receive alerts online and optionally by email or SMS. Please note that there is a €0.05 charge per SMS alert. You control how you want to receive alerts by logging into Smart Account online services.
You can use your account to deposit and withdraw money Post Offices nationwide. You can also get a mini statement at the Post Office and use your card to pay for your bills and a wide variety of products and services. And of course, you can use your Smart Account Debit Card worldwide wherever you see the Mastercard acceptance sign. You can also access your account online and via the free Smart Account App.
